NOSTALGIA AS WE KNOW IT

These days, telling someone to “Log Off” is almost as offensive as the F-word version of the phrase. We’re so disconnected from our offline life, it’s impossible to associate ourselves with anything that isn’t online – we literally don’t know what to do.

But, if I recall correctly, we used to have lives which were lived completely in the moment, for the moment; lives that required us to leave our house and interact with actual human beings. There were no such things as Keyboard Warriors or Trolls (unless, of course, you’re referring to the ones with the crazy hair – in which case there were a lot):

We wan’t to take you back for a minute, to reminisce over long forgotten childhood memorabilia that no designer handbag or celebrity lip kit could ever match – unless they name the item after our fave childhood play thing (Kylie Jenner don’t get any ideas…)
We’re talking about objects that may be considered a vintage collectors item worth hundreds today, but to us are priceless memories.

This is Nostalgia as WE know it:
